This is Me.
Ok so I'm not really French.
But have you ever found yourself torn between two places? An earnest drawing to two cities, two cultures, two cuisines, so strongly that you can't decide where you belong?
That's how I feel about California and France. To be precise, Los Angeles and Paris. Having lived in both locations for separate periods of my life, I find myself equally entrenched in the beauty and culture of both. Do I belong here or there?
With this platform of expression, I want to share with everyone the beautiful mélange we can create between the two different loves of our lives. When I'm in L.A., I'm often finding ways to make my life more French. I enjoy my tiny kitchen and daily walks to purchase fresh vegetables and good cheese. When I'm in Paris, I'm often finding ways to include my Californian lifestyle of yoga, green juices and the great outdoors. We can have both, non?
With this, I attempt to inspire recipes, art and a lifestyle from the two very special places dear to my heart. I will remain persistent in my goal to be, always and truly, the French Californian.
XOXO,
Emily
